The vineyard experience. The harvest and traditional treading of thegrapes in a 15th-century stone wine-press, with José Luis, professionalvine-grower and proprietor of the hotel.
Historical walk through the village of Ábalos. Visit to the church of San Esteban (St. Stephen).
Tasting session with Empatía cask-fermented white wines and a selection of red wines.
Typical La Rioja lunch in La Cocina de Merche, with wine included.
Visit to the Vivanco Dynasty Museum of the Culture of Wine.

This is the time of the year when spirits are at their highest in our region. La Rioja puts on an autumn festival for the vine-growers who are going to harvest the results of their efforts.
